Reflection
Jesus spoke these words to His disciples on the night before His crucifixion. In the midst of His own impending suffering, He offered them a gift—His peace. This is not the fragile peace that the world offers, which depends on circumstances. This is a supernatural peace that remains steady even when everything around you is falling apart. It's the same peace that allowed Jesus to sleep in the boat during the storm. Today, receive His peace as a gift. You don't have to earn it or manufacture it. It's already yours.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for leaving Your peace with me. In the midst of my storms, help me to remember that Your peace is not dependent on my circumstances. Calm my troubled heart and replace my fear with Your perfect peace. Amen.

When anxiety rises today, pause and whisper, 'Jesus, I receive Your peace.' Do this as many times as needed.
