God's peace doesn't always make sense. It can exist alongside difficult circumstances. It can be present when everything logical says you should be anxious. This peace 'passes all understanding'—it transcends human logic. It's a peace that guards your heart like a sentry, protecting you from the attacks of anxiety and fear. This peace is available to you through Christ Jesus.
Prayer
Lord, I invite Your peace to guard my heart and mind today. Even when I don't understand how peace is possible in my situation, I trust that You are greater than my circumstances. Amen.
