Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.Psalm 46:10
Reflection
In a world of constant noise and motion, God calls us to be still. The Hebrew word for 'be still' means to let go, to release, to relax your grip. It's an invitation to stop striving, stop worrying, stop trying to control everything. In that stillness, we truly know that He is God. We recognize His sovereignty, His power, His faithfulness. Stillness is where we find Him.
Prayer
God, help me to be still before You today. Teach me to release my grip on the things I cannot control. In the quiet, let me know deeply that You are God. Amen.
