Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.Psalm 23:4
Reflection
David didn't say 'if' I walk through the valley—he said 'though.' Valleys are inevitable in life. But notice what brings peace in the valley: 'thou art with me.' The presence of God is the antidote to fear. His rod protects you; His staff guides you. You are not alone in your darkest valley. The Good Shepherd walks with you.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for walking with me through every valley. When fear tries to overtake me, remind me of Your presence. Your rod and staff comfort me. Amen.
Peace Challenge
Whatever valley you're in right now, speak these words aloud: 'I will fear no evil, for You are with me.'
